Meet Charlotte: The creative eye behind Tabula Rasa Photography and Art

Entertainment has always been at the heart of my life. For over 20 years, I’ve worked as a singer and occasional actor, and for the past 15 years I’ve been behind the decks as a DJ, known professionally as DJ Velvet Jones. Performing in front of audiences taught me how powerful a moment can be—the energy of a crowd, the emotion in a performance, the connection between artist and audience.

Photography became a natural extension of that world for me. After spending so many years on stage and in entertainment spaces, I developed a deep appreciation for the moments that often go unseen—the anticipation before a show, the emotion during a performance, and the atmosphere that makes an event unforgettable. Photography allows me to capture those moments and tell the story from a different perspective.

My creative energy flows effortlessly across music, performance, and visual storytelling. I love music, I love performance, and most of all, I love capturing moments.
